¿Por Qué el Blog? : Why the Blog?

¿Por qué estoy escribiendo este blog? Me gusta leer mucho, entonces tengo un gran vocabulario en inglés (si me permite decirlo). No es el caso en español y la cosa más frustrante de aprendiendo español es que no puedo me expreso con un vocabulario tan pequeño. Simplemente, necesito más palabras. Soy una "pricipiante visual" - necesito leer para aprender, y necesito escribir para recordar cosas bien. También, sé que la manera más efectiva de aprender un idioma es usarlo. Es mi esperanza que escribiendo cien palabras de español por día me ayudará a aprender el idioma mejor. Esta vez, voy a probarme que puedo hacerlo.

Why am I writing this blog? I like to read a lot, so I have a huge vocabulary in English (if I do say so myself). This is not the case in Spanish and the most frustrating thing about learning Spanish is that I can’t express myself with such a small vocabulary. I simply need more words. I’m a “visual learner” - I need to read to learn and I need to write to remember things well. I also know that the most effective way to learn a language is to use it. It’s my hope that writing one hundred words of Spanish a day will help me to learn the language better. This time, I’m going to prove to myself that I can do it.
